About

Hello, I'm Mukami

I write the Patricia stories for children aged 3 to 6. Patricia lives in the mountain highlands of Kenya with her family and her white rabbit, Luna. The pictures are warm and realistic, the sentences are short, and every page gives a child something to point at, count and say out loud.

Ideas for using the books at home

  • Let your child touch each object as you count it.
  • Read one number a day and look for that many things around the house.
  • Use the activity pages for shading, tracing and drawing with crayons.
  • Ask "Where is Luna?" on every page.
